Summary

I will make it short.

Gameplay - 10

The control is smooth and easy to get used to. Multiplayer is VERY fun and addicting, you can hit your friend and it make it so fun that you won't stop playing....believe me.

Music - 9.5

Very creative music and a feel of nostalgic from old game.
In some level, the music feel more like noise but still enjoyable.

Durability and difficulty - 10

The game is easy to hard, the game is getting harder when you are far into it but not too hard. If you play with 2 or 3 of your friend, the game will get harder because the synch with your friend must be sometimes near perfect to succes a climb or a jump but also funny when missing a jump.

Conclusion - 10

Rayman Origins is a retro game for both older and new gamer, but older player will enjoy it more and have a feeling of nostalgie
as this game is like a good old Donkey Kong Country game.

Summary

When I first heard they were making a new Rayman game I was a bit skeptical. "Oh no, not another one. They keep making Rayman games, but they never seem new; just remakes of the old." It wasn't till I saw the trailer where I was a believer. The colors of the stage, the animations, the sillyness of the characters, and challenge and chaos of each stage sold me. I couldn't wait to get the game on PS3.

There's so much you can do on each stage and if you want to complete a level you are due for a revisit. The 10 ways to beat rayman applys to all worlds, but not all stages.

Spoiler: **For example, if you want to get the metal for collecting lums I found out is not limited by collecting all the lums, but rather a combination of chaining your lums when activated to red and making sure to pound the crap out of monsters rather than letting them float away.**

I want to get my friends to play Rayman with me so we can 4 player action. I gave it a 9.0 review because I think I did struggle a bit on getting use to the controls. But it may have been due to the fact I haven't played a good side scroller stage game in a while. Other than that, enjoy!

Summary

Rayman goes back to the roots of 2D platforming like Mario,DK and Megaman and the end result pays off.

Story

Well platformers are really ment to tell stories but Raymans world has been taken over by these creatures and its up to Rayman and his friends to kick them out basically.

Gameplay

Like other games in 2D the object is to get from point A to point B and doing it without getting yourself killed. You basically also have to rescue Electoons that are trapped in cages and some are well hidden and there's always one at the end of the level and they are used to unlock characters and levels. Some also require you doing a time trial as well and other things. As you progress other levels become aviliable and can be accessed from earlier on.

You have a limited set of lives maybe because opf the difficultly but one hit and your back to the last checkpoint. You can collect hearts to have an extra hit. This can help when playing in co- op best because as long as there's one person still alive you can just ber popped by your teammate so it basically works like New Super Mario Bros Wii.

Your abilities from the get go are jump and wall jump as well as ground pound. As you progress through the adventure you shall gain new abilities from fairies like flying like a Helicopter and also be able to swim underwater as well as running up slopes like Sonic you could say.

The bosses are very clever and some are mad chases like chasing treasures boxes which can get rather frustrating but you will just be desparate to do it. Believe the big bosses are very well done beating them might take a bit of working out.

Presentation

The graphics are very nice and colorful for a 2D platformer and add charm and humor as well. The audio is very nice as well and they go well with the theme of the level and the game has alot of vareity in level design like Fire,Ice,Water,Forest and many more.

Lastability

For a 2D platformer its actually pretty long and rewarding when you have played through certain levels. About 6 to 8 hours possibly because you will probably die alot in certain levels.

Overall Opinion

Another brilliant 2D platformer this gen, Nice colorful graphics, entertaining characters and some top notch level design. The game is rock hard espically the later levels you shall die alot but the satisfaction is well worth it. If you thought games were getting easy then think again this is the hardest 2D platformer of this gen.

Overall Score 9

Summary

Rayman has always been one of my favorite videogame characters of all time and I've been awaiting a real Rayman game for quite a few years now. Sure, Origins isn't the amazing platformer that Rayman Raving Rabbids was supposed to be, but it's as close as I am going to get for a while and I'm actually more than satisfied. The things that made me so satisfied with this title as well as the things that kind of disappointed me are all here; all you have to do is keep reading.

As for the good things about Rayman Origins; the first thing everyone will (or at least should) notice upon starting the game is its unique art style. The visuals for the game are beyond beautiful and pull in anyone looking for something different and new. Along with the visuals comes a world with a strong imagination behind it that doesn't take things too far and allows everything within the game to come together perfectly.

The soundtrack for this game is brilliant and addicting as well. With the games loony and extremely catchy tunes, you may find yourself whistling or humming them as the day goes by. Some songs even fit the gameplay so well that you may not show it, but on the inside you'll feel as if your heart is swelling up with joy. I could actually see myself downloading most of these songs to my iPod and listening to them on a bad day just to brighten things up a bit or even just listen for the heck of it.

Rayman Origins plays much like the classic platfomer (ie: LittleBigPlanet, New Super Mario Bros., etc) and up to 3 of your friends can join in. However, you can only play with 3 other players locally. I was a bit skeptical when I found out that this wasn't to be an online co-op game, but after playing it for myself through the majority of my first play-through I'm kind of glad it isn't. Though for the most part the co-op is fun and runs smoothly, I find the game much more enjoyable to play alone anyways; despite the fact that playing with others makes the game slightly easier.

One of my personal favorite things about Rayman Origins is the fact that unlike most games of its kind, there are NO LIVES. This makes dying less stressful and learning from your mistakes a lot easier. Actually, when you die there is no consequence at all! You simply return to the beginning of the room you've died in (or the nearest checkpoint when there are no rooms for a while) and can continue from there.

As for the bad things about Rayman Origins; I can honestly say that there is nothing wrong with this masterpiece besides the fact that as you near the end of it, there are ridiculous difficulty spikes. You may even end up dying so many times that the game actually asks if you want to keep playing. Trust me; I love a good challenge, but in this case I thought these spikes went a bit too far.

Rayman Origins is a fantastic game that takes Rayman back to his classic platforming roots and is definitely worth the buy for anyone seeking something entertaining and different. Overall, it is getting a 9.5 out of 10 from me. Even those of you who are unfamiliar with or simply don't care for Rayman may find a spot in your heart for this title, especially if you're a fan of classic gameplay.

Anyways, thanks for reading this review. If you liked what you saw, be sure to follow me on either my Youtube Page (TrueFreakinGamers) or Twitter (thatSTERLINkid) and share your thoughts on whether you agree or disagree!

Summary

As someone who grew up with 3D games, 2D games have long memories and do not communicate much with this style of game. Rayman Origins, but when I started, I was so addicted to it when I see other recent Blockbuster. Rayman again Ansel style first game of the series return, and Michel (Michel Ancel) has created an absolute beauty.

Graphics

Rayman Origins is an absolutely beautiful graphics. Michel Ansel their design process and team Ubi Artwork experts have concluded that the environment is very beautiful and Prjzyyat. The colors are very happy, high quality environments and characters, beautiful animation and high frame a fascinating work of art is created. There is no way to describe the beautiful graphics this game and you can experience it with your eyes.

Music / Sound

The game is full of different characters and creatures that each have their own voices.Another beauty of this music is playing. Each area of the game has a specific theme. Even in some phases of play together with music and songs you can call. This game sounds very good listen.

Gameplay

Gameplay is exactly like the old 2D games. In this work, only 3 can do: you jump, walk and tap. I only need two buttons and an analog. Everything is seemingly simple, so beautiful, but Ubisoft have put together the themes of the game to end the cross you legs. The game takes place in a variety of locations and more than 60 stages in this game are varied. An underwater stage, a stage in the jungle, desert and the other one is in heaven. At each stage, you have the necessary number of points in the environment (just like the popular game 2D) collect and then end up with a series make it count.

These medals (or better say Smilies) key next steps are to open. For example, to open a new stage or Stage One, you have 21 medals. However, in a step more points you collect, the more medals you get in the end. Some points to form a tablet which contains a large number of points and you can get it much easier to get a medal.the red points that are within a short time (until the music is played) with any of them actually get 2 points.

Sometimes I go over a step to reach the appropriate point. The more points you earn.Germany kept the game is attractive 2D game.

Like Mario can jump on enemies heads to kill them or dodge obstacles like Sonic the city and give very quick. To open a lot of character (Janvrhay sorts of strange and stupid!) Are in the game. You can start point, your character will change and the Blue Thing funny characters to choose from. You can also play a four-player Co-op play. This is more exciting because you can create a sense of competition between who can collect more points in each stage. You can even slap you or your partner together to take steps forward. There's so much fun and exciting game that early age to love it and so emotional and addictive as the sweat poured out of the big ones. Boss Fight Game, and the great variety of exciting and interesting to have each step.

Conclusion

Among the titles of some of the stereotypes presented in the end of 2011 and the serious and violent game, a 2D game so appealing to me was the excitement more than any other games that influenced me.Rayman Origins is a perfect beauty that is attractive for older players, but for younger players.
